Payment & Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Short duration camps (1/2/3/4 days)

Full payment should be done at the time of registration/booking. In case of cancellation of participation, refund criteria would be as below:

  • Before 30 days of the camp – Full amount refund
  • 15 – 30 days before the camp – 75% amount
  • 07 – 14 days before the camp – 50% amount
  • 01 – 06 days before the camp – 25% amount
  • Just before camp – No refund.

 

Long duration camps (More than 5 days)

Payment of minimum 50% of the total amount should be done at the time of registration and the remaining must be paid within next 07 days. In case of cancellation of participation, refund criteria would be as below:

  • Once the registration is done, no request of 100% refund would be entertained
  • Before 30 days of the camp – 70% amount
  • 15-30 days before the camp – 50% amount
  • 07-14 days before the camp – 25% amount
  • Less than 07 days before the camp – No refund

 

Himalayan Treks

Payment of minimum 50% of the total amount should be done at the time of registration and the remaining must be paid within next 07 days. In case of cancellation of participation, refund criteria would be as below:

  • Once the registration is done, no request of 100% refund would be entertained
  • Before 30 days of the camp – 70% amount
  • 20-30 days before the camp – 50% amount
  • 10-19 days before the camp – 25% amount
  • Less than 10 days before the camp – No refund
  • If the scheduled camp is cancelled on part of THY Adventure, full amount shall be refunded.
  • In no case, transfer/replacement of participation of one person to another will be facilitated.
  • In case of voluntary withdrawal/leaving midway during the camp, no request for refund would be entertained and THY Adventure will not be liable for any further arrangements thereon.
  • In case of cancellation of participation due to misbehaviour during the camp, no refund would be given and THY Adventure will not be liable for any further arrangements thereon.
  • There is no age barrier for participation in the camp/s organised by THY Adventure. But in high altitude camp/trek/s, only fit persons are recommended to participate. Persons with cardiac, pulmonary or any other disease are advised to consult their doctor before going for the camp and get proper medication along with them as prescribed by the doctor.
  • The individuals participating in any camp will have to abide by the Rules and Regulations laid down by THY Adventure. Any deviation from such would lead to action to be taken against the concerned person.
  • Any medical expenses for minor/major injury/sickness during the camp would not be borne by THY Adventure. Only immediate first – aid facility shall be provided.
  • No insurance coverage shall be included in the camp packages except specified explicitly. But on demand insurance would be facilitated which will be chargeable separately.
  • Use/consumption/carrying of tobacco, alcohol, cigarettes, in any form is strictly prohibited in the camp.
  • Use of any bad/vulgar/indecent language during the camp is strictly condemned.
  • Any extra/personal expenses apart from those included in the camp package will not be borne by THY Adventure.
  • Participants shall be solely responsible for safety or any kind of damage caused to their personal belongings. THY Adventure has no liability for the same.
  • The camp schedule is subjected to be altered depending on the fitness of the participants. In extreme unavoidable circumstances, camp dates and duration can also be changed without any prior notice as per weather conditions.
  • The camp packages shall be inclusive of travel permits and activities/trek/places to visit permits. The site-seeing or activity charges for any place apart from those mentioned explicitly in the camping schedule will be on the discretion of the participant to expend for the same.
  • The camp packages would not have any hidden charges. If any charges are to be borne, then it would be cleared priorly and shall be left on the discretion of the participant.
  • In case of unforeseen circumstances such as getting stuck at a place due to natural calamity, unable to board the transport vehicle on schedule, etc.; the expenditure of extra accommodation facilities, new transport arrangements, etc. will have to be borne by the participants themselves. No such responsibility would be on part of THY Adventure.
