Bakor is a village situated in the Mahisagar district of Gujarat state. It is around 140 km from Ahmedabad which can be reached via Ahmedabad – Modasa Road. This forest camp is sheltered by mahua trees and located near the Mahi river. Bakor forest is a home of many animals like Chinkara, Mongoose, Hyena, Jackals, and Nilgai. Many birds like Paradise Flycatcher, Indian Pitta, Painted Partridge, Grey Hornbill, and Great Horned Owl are living in Bakor Forest at the foothills of Aravali Hills.
